I've been listening to it since Wed. and I'm loving it. Moved it right up in the presets. Seems to be a lot deeper playlist than other channels, and no DJ!

Why not just tag all of this stuff with the same genre on an iPod and put it on random? You don't have to pay for subscription that way.

You do realize Sirius is more than just thos one station, right? I'm not paying for one channel. It's well worth it IMO!

Well, as you can see, most of us posting in this thread are in our late 20's/early 30's, and this is the music we grew up on. Same reason my dad loves the classic rock stations.

Alt Nation has always annoyed me because I have to listen to a shit load of crappy songs to hear something I finally like.

Yeah, I realize that, but I mean...you have all of this music anyway, so why is hearing it on a radio station so great?
