How can they do this?

It's blatantly ripping off Rear Window, except instead of being in a wheelchair, the dude's under house arrest. It's understandable for the Simpsons to have an 8 minute parody of it, but an entire movie? Shouldn't they give some writing credit to Rear Window's writers?

This is hardly the first time something like has happened. I'm not saying that makes it right, but this has been happening for years. As far as the Rear Window writer/writers getting credit, no way in hell that's happening. Hollywood typically doesn't give a shit about writers.

Boxofficemojo.com is predicting it to be number 3 this weekend too. There really is no limit to the shitty taste of the general public.

I saw this. The first half of the movie was actually very solid, the second half, however, was laughably bad. It's kind of a shame, LaBeof is really not a bad actor, and I was really into this movie up until his horrendous monologue that got him the girl. After that, the quality plummeted. The first scene of the movie was pretty great though.

I highly recommend this movie if you enjoy hearing a hundred retarded teenagers screaming at nothing and the occasional pre-pubescent boy saying 'oh yeah' at the slightest sexual moments.

My thoughts exactly, most annoying experience i've ever had at the movies (but it was free, so I guess you get what pay for)...The movie wasn't too bad, David Morse was good in his role.

Saw it last night. The previews made it out to be a kind of horror flick, but it was only that for about 30 minutes. It was decent I guess, but I do like Shia LeBeouf.
