loo0ks like the cheesiest standardized movie ever but whatevers tapping into your collective subconscience will work no matter what the premise
as long as it involves terror on a mass scale you'll be satisfied
fucking bullshit
we just like it when two people want something the other person doesn't want, on the scale of life and death risk, and the fact that its a conflict that cant be solved easily... because we think "what would i do in this situation?" and we realize there is no easy way, so we want to see how it turns out in the movie. so sorry us american's like characters dealing with challenging conflicts. it's not really us americans, its just us people.
and what's wrong with terror on a mass scale in movies, its a dramatic situation. its frightening. i never saw day after tomorrow, because it looked lame. but i did enjoy 28 days later and children of men which were both great non american movies. just because a movie taps in to the cultural subconscious doesn't make it bad. so take it easy stop being so judgemental, you're making nonamericans look ignorant. it's a movie.
