On one hand, i give her credit for going out there in her still "thick" body. She knows it was going to be heavily scrutinized.. but did it anyway.

However, she looked REALLY uncomfortable out there half naked. And it was a terrible song to try and lip sync too.

As I sit here I can't believe what I am seeing. I understand that it's amazing MTV has an awards show for music videos they only play once or twice a week. That said I wanted to see how out of touch I was. Holy shit - am I out of touch !
You can vote for the best new artist category, but where the fuck is the viewer's choice award ? and 10 + contenders for each award ?
AND WHAT THE FUCK IS THE TRIPLE THREAT AWARD ? ! ? ! ? WHAT THE FUCK DOES A CLOTHING LINE HAVE TO DO WITH A VMA AWARD ???
The time is now 9:32pm and I have changed the channel for the evening. Why did I attempt to watch it in the first place? I don't know. to "gauge my hip-ness."
Is this how my mom felt in 1992 when Pearl Jam, Radiohead and White Zombie were on? Did they make her sick the way Fall out boy makes me sick?

1. I was kinda digging the Britney song, but overall the "performance" sucked hard.
2. I agree with Justin Timberlake... I challenge MTV to play more videos as well. Enough with this reality show bullshit.
3. Some of those awards that they came up with... really fucking lame.
4. They should've shown more of the Foo Fighters stuff. Best part of the whole show.
