It's time for Day 4 to begin with the two hour season premiere. I'm pretty excited about this season. Does everyone know the details about what happened between season 3 and season 4? If not, I will elaborate.

Please, elaborate. Or post a link to a site with the details.

I haven't missed an hour since hour one, season one. One of the best shows on TV. 4 hours in 2 days= heaven.

Elaborate, please! I didn't watch the little between-seasons thing on the DVDs...
Holy crap, I am excited.

I enjoyed the first two hours, but was a bit underwhelmed. I'm getting tired of the whole "we have to bring back the renegade Jack Bauer to CTU to save the day". Has the guy ever started out the season actually working for CTU with the exception of Season 1?

season 3.

i enjoyed it, glad we only have to wait til tomorrow for some more. i'm already giddy over anticipation on what the whole terrorist plan is since its obviously more than just killing the secretary of defense.

no, 7am-9am refers to the time within the show, not the time it's on TV.

Let's see if I can remember everything I read....

Palmer decides not to run after Sherry's death at the end of the third season. So his opponent in the race is now president.

Tony went to prison for one year before he was pardoned by President Palmer.

Tony and Michelle got a divorce.

Jack got fired from CTU after the new lady came in and found out about his drug problem.

Tony will return for at least one episode this season.

on the dvd it sets up the back story for the day... it shows that dude that bauer shoots in the leg sneaking into the country and killing everyone that helps him do it. that was sweet. and it shows that bitch firing jack.

overall... nice take down of the secretary, who i'm thinkin will get killed. i don't think jack can get to the kid, and save the secretary from being beheaded. it's so much more shocking with him dead. does anyone think that jack will get to speak to the new president?

dialogue is still spotty, but plot was pretty good.

Jack being rogue again is tired.

They should have killed Jack's girlfriend, but she is hot.

Chloe seems slightly less annoying.

Since when do government employees dress in Armani?

That fat guy with low self-esteem is a downright awful character.

The subplot with Beruiz and his girlfriend will prove to be awful.

Plenty of room for disappointment this season, despite the show's good start.

Was it just me or was Secretary Heller's son wearing a 12 Monkeys t-shirt? If he was then it was likely an intentional nod to the movie in which Brad Pitt and his environmental activist group (Army of the 12 Monkeys) kidnap his scientist father.

I don't know if that means the son is in on the plan... but just something I noticed.. :)

I missed all of season 3, so... I'm reading through the summaries on tvtome.com, so I might have questions. Anywho, I too thought the rogue thing is getting old. You'd think working for the DoD would give him some authority.

The fat guy character... I want to believe he won't continue to play the stereotypical nerd role. But he could just be that token nerd.

Beruiz subplot seems predictable already.

And two more hours tonight :)

Part of me hopes Debbie ends up dead (and soon), but when they killed Melanie right off the bat, they killed the hottest chick they'll probably have all season (if not during the entire run of the series) so now my loins are sad and need hotness. :(
