the tagline is awesome

basically it's a horror film more in the style of Kubrick/Hitchcock/Polanski as opposed to the modern "ironic" horror films. It's very straightforward.

Yeah it's a total slow burn, very deliberately paced, very authentically 80's. To tell you anything is to ruin it really, I'd say if you're going to watch it, go in with as little knowledge about it as possible.

This looks horrible. I'm renting it.

The first two-thirds were as good as any movie I saw all year, and better than any horror movie I've seen in a long, long time. The last third is a bit of a letdown, but I still loved it.

basically, Ti West said, "I really like those early 80s horror movies. I'm going to make one."
