Has anybody seen this? I was flipping around at around midnight last night, trying to find anything interesting. I missed the first half hour but caught the rest of this movie. Holy shit, what a fucked up film. I could tell right away that it was the same director that did Kids. Then i figured out that the "mafia" guy was that weirdo from Kids. It turns out that the movie was based on a true story. I'm a huge fan of non-fiction flicks, it just seems to make the movie that much more genuine. I'm going to the library to try and find the book. It's weird that i never even heard of this movie before...or the story in general. Just curious to see what people here thought.

watch the whole movie, its a great flick, really gritty. I'd seen the story on 'american justice' or one of those forensic file shows a long time ago, and the movie seems to stick pretty close to what actually happened. In real life, the bully is a much bigger dude, and the chicks are pretty homely.

I was flipping through the channels and noticed that film as well, the description looked horrible so I didn't watch it. When you have the choice between people luring a bully somewhere and beating him to death or the diary of Anne Frank, its definately time to turn off the t.v.

This was made by the same guy who made "Kids" (Larry Clark). He's kind of a pervert and some of his scenes are borderline kiddie-porn. Bully was a good movie though, with solid performances by all. If you rent the DVD, it has mugshot's of the real people involved.
