ok if ya got it what are you

im a high elf battlemage born under the star of the mage.

using mainly destruction spells. I am in all four guilds (not sure if i am supposed to) and i combat in the arena. Im focussing on sidequests at the moment.

I can see myself playing for a long long time, 24 hours so far, and im on the 360 not pc.

This game is bloody amazing. Couldn't tell you how many hours I've been playing, but I'm level 25 or something and have hardly touched the main quest. I'll post some pics of my character when I get home from work.

Oh, and the Thieves guild and Dark Brotherhood quests are marvelous!

It's the best scroll-based game ever, folks.

I like it a lot better. Elder Scrolls 3 was fun, but the fighting system and interaction with the NPC's was pretty bad. Oblivion takes all the stuff that works, and streamlines it really well. I'm at about 50 hours, and I have barely done anything with the Main Quest. I can see going over 100 hours easily and still not have touched on a lot of the aspects of the game.

84 hours of gameplay

what ele is there to do?

does this mean i will have to play a different game?

Well there is a lot of stuff you could do. It depends if you are bored with it yet or not. You could start a new character, and try playing the game from a compeltly different aspect. Try a different class. I'm sure there are still a lot of quests you have not finished with your main character, and you can try and max out all of your stats. Hell, you could try and murder every NPC in the game, steal all their stuff and put it in a giant pile in your mansion. There are always more caves and parts of the map to explore. I'm at about 70 hours now and there is still a ton of stuff I want to do.

Jesus. This game is freakishly good.

I was a custom mage-warrior thingy, but that sucked, so I've started over as a Dark Elf Rogue-ish character, with Blade and Marksman strengths, with a bit of spellcasting thrown in.

Anyone think the original class templates suck? I've made my own custom ones instead.

I still haven't decided whether or not to go to the dark side... hmm.... 8)

This is a good game. I would probably play it all the time except for the fact that it always freezes up and causes my computer to crash.

I was playing as a fighter type imperial. I have not really even played any of the main quest, I just walk around from city to city causing mayhem.

I would start the main quest if the game didn't freeze up every ten minutes causing me to start over.

This is, quite simply, the best game I have ever played.

Just downloaded the add on pack for it today. 8)

Any one getting excited for the Shivering Isles add on pack? Apparently it's like adding on another realm of Oblivion which is about a quarter the size of the original game
