Oh please, there are plenty of people who could watch these over and over again. Okay granted his wording is a tad hyperbolic (& for the purposes of this thread, pretend I have a different username) but I have watched all 3 extended cuts in their entirety quite a few times over the years. For a long time they were my sort of comfort food, if I was feeling sick I'd put them and let roll.

On the commentary for one of them Peter Jack remarks that he'd love to see a fan take it upon themselves to put together a chronological edit of all 9+ hours. (much with the Godfather) I wouldn't mind watching that.

i have grown to not care about these movies at all- except for fellowship extended version, which i can watch every now and then. you're better of reading the books rather than investing that kind of time watching the movies.

if you love these movies this much, im pretty sure you have bigger problems than blasting people for believing in god and need to spend your time more addressing these issues
