Do yourself a favor and download the VLC media player (unless you already have Quicktime):

http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-windows.html

Now, download the high quality HD trailer for Wall-E (right click on the link and choose "Save As..." to download it):

http://movies.apple.com/movies/disney/w ... h1080p.mov

(Beware- it’s 175MB download so it might take awhile on slow connections.)

I am truly amazed at the animation here. We're a long way from Toy Story. Unbelievable.

The animation looks amazing and the critics are raving. I haven't been as in love with Pixar movies as most but I might catch this one in the theaters.

I'm still bitter about the death of cell animation in the US so I boycott these movies, but I think we're going to see it during summer camp next week. I'll probably like it but still be bitter.

Saw it last night. It was fantastic. The majority of the film has no dialogue at all, and a lot of the emotional dialogue content consists of the main characters just saying each others names, but with great voice acting work to layer on varying emotional nuances when doing so. Extremely well done. Highly recommended.

The Pixar short was very good as well. There have been better, but it was enjoyable as always.

I feel this way too, but I eventually had to give in to Pixar.

My daughter really wants to see this. For those who have managed to catch the movie, would a 5 year old like it?

The no dialogue part actually makes this one a huge plus for me as well. Part of the reason I hate the Pixar movies is the whole "Zach Braff is a Giraffe!!!" thing, which this one wisely avoided. Plus I heard it has a song from Hello Dolly and some cool sequences. So I'll finally give in too I think.

You've been missing out. Pixar makes great movies. Cell animation went away because the movies were shit! If they were to come back with better writting, then I welcome it, but the last few Disney, and other studios cell movies were horrible.

The first half of this movie is pure bliss!! The 2nd is great also, but more plot driven, while the 1st is very artsy.
