I ran a quick search and didn't see a thread, so... for the sake of brevity, this may be the best movie i've seen all year (and as well as compared to anything from 2007). i absolutely loved it. music, use of light and direction were without flaw. it managed to surprise me, despite the "genre" and what i thought i knew before seeing it. and the acting by the lead... i really can't say enough about it. more to come. ciao

This opened recently in Dallas, most likely a result of it's Oscar buzz. I considered seeing it last night, but we chose Smart People instead (medicore).

I saw this one a week ago when it came out on DVD. It was pretty good, not great, but

the end when the two sections of the camp come together is really moving.

fair enough; i just thought it was really well done (especially the music & cinematography) and the lead actor was outstanding
