me too. i shall be seeing it in about 2 hours. 8) didn't do all that well by the critics - but i don't care - form my own opinions. besides - what a stellar cast - can't wait to see them all in action. shall let you know how much i enjoy it or not. :)

judging from the trailer, the soundtrack will be yet another winner from jon brion. the man can do no wrong imo. his work on magnolia and eternal sunshine are among my all time favorites

I'm labelling this one a "wait until it's on dvd". It doesn't look that great to me.

good idea...utter crap. what a total waste of the talent available in this film. a stellar cast - wasted away. one of those indie flicks that tried too hard. had a few good moments....but really total shite. to say i was disappointed is an understatement. eh well - thankfully only paid matinee prices...and the popcorm was good.

such a shame though. eh well - i hope that closer is releases soon.....sooooo looking forward to that one. there are a few really promising films coming out soon - hope to catch a few good flicks. i repeat though....i heart huckabees.....definitely not one of them sadly.

i actually thought it was quite good. Not great, but good nonetheless. There are definitely a good number of funny moments in this movie....especially the love scene  (won't give any further details).

It might sound odd....but i thought Mark Whalberg gave the funniest performance of the movie...

correct.

i'm not even going to get into the philosophy of this film, but i thought the cast (wahlberg and hoffman, particularly) all played thier individual plights quite nicely.

not a bad film at all, i'd see it again.

to each his/her own. i loved the ideas of the film...but i found the execution poor. the actors are all top shelf and did the best that they could, but i found the film lacking. glad you enjoyed it - wish i could say the same. there were moments - but merely moments - that seemed redeemable, but on the whole, didn't hold together cohesively for me.

well..it seems others here disagree with me...so don't take my word for it. just was not at all what i hoped for, but merely my opinion.

That's how I felt after watching another Naomi Watts movie, "Mulholland Drive" a couple of years back. :?
