The most underrated director of all time seems to be getting some serious recognition this year.
-2 editions of El Cid were recently released; one of them a glorious Limited Edition with beautiful bonuses and loads of features. -2 editions of The Fall of the Roman Empire are due in April; one of them also a Limited Edition, hopefully just as glorious. -Criterion has strongly hinted at a release of The Furies sometime this year. -Man of the West (one of the best movies ever) is FINALLY coming out on R1 DVD in May.
If you've ever been interested in getting into Mann's work, 2008 is the year to do it!

The first nine are all terrific. Ten is good, but not great.
Keep in mind I have yet to watch my copy of El Cid.
