I'm embarassed to admit it, but i find Jackass and Viva La Bam utterly hilarious. Yeah its fucking juvenile and Bam has turned into an egotistical douche, but i just can't help but laughing.
my brother produced Steve-O's DVD: "The Early Years", but I have yet to watch it. after the jackass movie, i am finding their antics a bit disturbing i.e. how many ways can we get naked and torture ourselves?

For everyone that dislikes Bam but likes Jackass, do you know where it started? Bam's likely pissed that Knoxville gets all of the credit for Jackass. I can only assume that is why there is a "Viva la Bam". If you wan't to see where Jackass came from, go out and get CKY. I first saw CKY from one of my "skater" friends and have pretty much ignored the Jackass phenomena. The movie was funny though. CKY2K is better than any episode of Jackass I have ever seen.
I would be pissed to if everybody praised Knoxville for Jackass when it was a watered down version of CKY.
I've never seen VLB. Do they include musical performances on the DVD's? Or is it like Chapelle's where there are licensing issues. I would assume this is the case but on the off chance that they are included, there were some good ones that I read about on Blabbermouth (Clutch, Slayer, Cradle of Filth) that I would like to see.

Eh, sometime's it's funny, but a lot of the time it's not. Bam puts his parents through so much that it ruins it. I feel sorry for them. And Don Vito is an act. He used to actually speak clearly in the first episodes.
Jackass good.
Wild Boyz good.
Viva la Bam, not so good.
