Has anyone seen this movie? If so, is it any good?
I'm pretty sick and looking for something to rent at Blockbuster.
no, but the first thought that came to mind was cary elwes on andre the giant's back in princess bride. why don't you just rent that? even if you have seen it, you'll enjoy it again.
i'll be sure to check that one out. there is so much you can take out of this movie; i loved it for its philosophical sensibility as much for the footage and historical element.

step into liquid i think is more on the philisophical angle in that it covers all the different surf cultures around the world. its really great to see.

Discovery Home Theater HD was showing this back around Christmas time and I caught it. I really enjoyed it. Besides the amazing scenery, its pretty damn interesting to see how big wave surfing evolved to where it is today.
i've literally watched this movie about 8 or 10 times. its just amazing. step into liquid is very cool too. but for my money, nothing makes me want to charge big waves like riding giants. and yet at the same time, remind me that this is why i surf in florida and am happy to never see waves like that lol.
