What are you currently reading? The title says it all. For me, George Orwell's 1984. And after, I think I might read Catcher In The Rye for about the fourth time. |

I'm more of a nonfiction kind of guy. I'm currently on Bob Dylan's Chronicles. I'll probably re-read Chuck Palahniuk's Choke when I get it back from my closest-female-acquaintance-that-I'm-still-trying-to-impress just so I can talk about it with her. Cos I mean, yeah. I only read to impress girls. |

That is a very funny book. Sadaris is a funny man indeed. If you like that, you should read "Me talk pretty one day" |

I'm presently reading "Infinite Jest" by David Foster Wallace. 1100 pages, including 90 pages of endnotes alone, and featuring literally hundreds of major characters. It's brilliant so far. |

H.L. Mencken - In Defense of Women: Social satire from the roaring 20s. A lot of what he says is still relevant today. Scott McCloud - Re-inventing Comics: I read his 'Understanding Comis' and wanted to see what else he had to say. It's a fun look at how the comics industry is evolving. I normally don't read two books at once, but I was in the mood for something different and picked up Menken's book. |
