DrivenToJam wrote: The Big So-So wrote: Kiss Me, Judas by Will Christopher Baer An ex-cop/mental patient meets a beautiful prostitute in a hotel bar. He takes her to his room and then...hours later, he wakes up in a bathtub full of ice. His side is stapled shut. He's missing a kidney. And he's pissed off. That's the set-up of this brilliantly written nightmarish thriller. It's loaded with twisted humor and is just really cool. Awesome book! After you read KMJ you have to read Penny Dreadful and Hell's Half Acre. Will Baer is a fucking amazing writer. You should check out his website for some of his short stories that are just as good as his novels.http://www.willchristopherbaer.com/ I've got Penney Dreadful and Hell's Half Acre and can't wait to read them. I haven't read the short stories at his website. I'll be sure to check them out. Thanks! |

With Cliffs Notes, I enjoyed Canterbury Tales. It's a shame he never finished it. |

Jeez, way to start off a book. Give me a minute before you start throwing in 8 stories about him getting blown by guys. It's not just that. I found the whole book to be a but "tabloidy". The author looks like a creep too. |
