Anyone else really want to see this? It's stars Jean-Claude Van Damme as himself and is being compared to The Wrestler in terms of the level of the performance. Looks awesome.

Yeah it's actually playing at one of the Alamo Drafthouses but it'll probably be gone in a week or so, I really want to go see it.

It does look very good, and I'll definitely try to go see it if it ever comes near me.

It's supposed to be good, but it's really not. Pretty half-assed in my opinion, Van Damme is acting and god knows how terrible he is. It was supposed to feel authentic and it failed.

JCVD is the perfect self parody without going the zucker Rt.
I may take shit for this....but I think he is a good actor. This movie proves it.

So I finally saw this, and while a lot of the plot left me kind of cold, his performance was awesome and made it a four-star movie. Definitely worth seeing.
