I'm not an Alanis fan either, but one of the complaints I heard from the ladies the last time they played RB was that there are not enough female vocal tracks... so I guess that was a popular enough complaint for HMX to bring some more in. Really, I would rather have had Evanescence's "Going Under" or Heather Nova's "Walk This World", but at least it's not "Holla-back Girrrl".
