I don't know if this has a thread already or not, but i couldnt find it. Anyways i rented it last night and this movie was really boring. It had a few funny Vince Vaughn lines but considering all the good actors in it, it really fell flat on it's face.

The movie felt like it wanted to be Pulp Fiction 2, but really just ended up being Pulp Fictions nerdy wannabe younger brother that nobody likes.

i liked it alot and laughed through most of it, most of the best parts were the ones with the rock, and this is actually the first movie i can think of where vince vaughn starts to get a bit annoying bu the end, though still funny.

as far as the story of the movie goes, i thought it was pretty decent also, did you happen to see get shorty? it helps in understanding some of it.

Yeah the Rock was actually pretty funny. There were lots of good lines but i found the story really weak. Also it annoyed me that in the span of a week they managed to find a girl, get her song recorded, produced and remixed.

you mean that wasnt believable :P , i definatly wouldnt call it the best movie ever or anyhitng like that, but it was a fun watch for me, but it helped that i watched it with a bunch of people who had already seen it and loved it, so it was a more fun enviroment to watch the movie in.

the way we are is that if one of us likes a movie then we all will because we make it fun to watch i guess.

I refuse to see any movie that features Travolta wearing a toupee and has Andre 3000 in a supporting role.

I watched it. It was better than get shorty (suck fest) but nowhere near as good as I had hoped, and even the dance sequence left much to be desired.

I think it's all about high expectations.

this is one of those terrible sequels when the original movie was pretty good. like the whole ten yards to the whole nine yards.

I watched this when I saw too stoned to remember my own name. I think the Rock made it tolerable.
