One of the best movies of the 80's...discuss...
Definetly, but that really isn't saying much. The 80's were a shithole for movies and music in general. Though it was the decade of video games. Mario, Zelda, Dragon Warrior, Final Fantasy, Donkey Kong, Contra, Castlevania, Metal Gear, Ninja Gaiden......

I love this movie.....it's definitely the best thing that Wil Wheaton ever did. It's kinda sad though seeing all the potential that River had......he trully would have been one of the greatest actors if he was still here. It's also hard to believe that Corey Feldman fell soooo far after this, but the rest of the cast from Cusack to Kiefer were all great. It was only a couple of years ago that I realized that Jerry O'Connel was the fat kid in the movie. If there is a special edition DVD I need to get it.

I love it, and I think it's the second best Stephen King adaptation behind The Shawshank Redemption.
and they both happen to be in the same book. madness

horse shit! i mean, your dead on about the video games, but corey feldman alone was in 3 great movies of the 80's: goonies and lost boys.
all the best comedies sans tommy boy are from the 80's: spies like us, caddyshack, stripes, real genius, three amigos, trading places, national lampoon's vacation, ghostbusters, etc.
