Before he hunts Terminators, Christian Bale's gonna hunt him some Depp!

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. I posted a story a few weeks back about Johnny Depp being cast as John Dillinger in an upcoming period crime drama called PUBLIC ENEMIES, being directed by none other than Michael Mann.

Now he's got an adversary. Christian Bale is in talks to play Melvin Purvis who led the FBI's manhunt for these so called public enemies. He'll not only be hunting Depp's Dillinger, but he's also after Pretty Boy Floyd and Baby Face Nelson.

They say that Bale's participation in this project will not conflict with his commitment to play John Conner in McG's future war-set TERMINATOR flick. Once again, Bale's leading one of the most interesting careers of any actor out there... RESCUE DAWN to DARK KNIGHT to a Michael Mann crime drama to a TERMINATOR movie. The guy knows how to keep things lively, that's for sure.

So they're filming in Oshkosh, Wisconsin right now (I live in Fond du Lac 20 minutes away but in MIlwaukee for school) and my brother goes to college at Oshkosh. He told me that some of his friends went to a bar and Johnny was there. Apparently he is really nice to all the college kids, buying them drinks. That's so cool. Why am i in MIlwaukee?

I live in Oshkosh and this has been very interesting. It's amazing how many people and equipment come in to town to support this. There are dozens of semi trailers, buses, etc...

After a week plus of this craziness though I'm ready for them to leave town. Too many people and it's screwed up traffic big time.

first review came in at a screen test. Says it is the best Mann film to date. Awesome.

Yeah Channing Tatum. What a D-Bag, or at least his publicist is. On IMDB all I see are headlines talking about "Channing Tatum and Public Enemies Possible Oscar Contenders for Next Year!" and shit like that. The guy is in the movie for about two minutes from what I hear.

I really hope this is good, and expect it to be, but Leelee Sobieski and Lili Taylor annoy the shit outta me as actors.
