Fingers crossed on ditching the slow motion special effect. That shit is popular now, but it's gonna age like 1980's Hollywood hair.

Yeah that slow motion shit blows. The violence and action shown with more realism is a lot more affective.

Totally agree on this. Slow-mo takes me right out of the action, which I prefer hard, fast and in real-time. It's "look at me!" visual wankery.

Tron sucked, this will suck.

There's a big-arse feature on this in a recent issue of Empire magazine. It is gonna kick some serious arse.

Seriously, if there isn't an arsely amount of arse kicked, I'm gonna turn my arse on this one and say, "Aye, arse me, this was some half-arsed movie." Arse.

I'm less excited about this than I was. I just don't like the look of it, it doesn't look nearly as great and unique as the original Tron. Everything looks ... well, real, and what I loved about the original is that it didn't look real, it was more like a dream. I miss the artistry of the original, and aesthetically, this looks like stuff we've already seen. I have a feeling it's going to turn out fairly mediocre, but Im hoping for something good.
