I have always wanted to read or read about Oscar Wilde. Any suggestions of where to start... a play, a novel, biography, collection? Any help would be great. Thanks.

Stephen fry is an English treasure. He's also the old comedy partner of Hugh Laurie, aka Dr. House
but
Oscar is Ireland's great treasure. I get to walk past his birthplace and the (obscenely awful) statue everyday, which I think makes me wittier. Though most Dubliners are like that anyway.
The biopic is essential viewing and there are 2 great biographies, which should only be read after you've read something of his. The fairytales don't count but they're good too.
