It was a pretty bad joke. Besides the fact that April Fools jokes are obvious, the effects and the costumes are really bad. Ganon made me LOL, when I first saw him.

haha. when i first saw it, i thought it was real.. and i was so pissed/disappointed/etc as possible. i searched the internets for the best place to register my distaste, and luckily and instantly i discovered that it was an ign april fools joke.

Ganon looks like Michael J Fox in "Teen Wolf"

As much as I would love a Zelda movie, I agree, I don't think it could ever be done right.

Side note: I have a friend that is a video game junkie, beat all the Zeldas, loves Zelda, owns like 11 Gameboys...anyway...we were discussing the possibility of a Zelda movie. I jokingly said that it would need a Zelda-Link sex scene. He was so offended that I couldn't stop and he literally distraught for some time. He has since forgotten.
