DeNiro and Pacino, on screen together for only the 2nd time ever.
I've seen the trailer.
and I'm really not as excited as I thought I'd be.

Two veteran New York City detectives (De Niro and Pacino) work to identify the possible connection between a recent murder and a case they believe they solved years ago; is there a serial killer on the loose, and did they perhaps put the wrong person behind bars?

they filmed some of this 20 minutes from my house.
Apparently Dinero or Pacino or maybe it was both, were so impressed with the food at this tiny little italian joint my brother bartends that they went every day during shooting and one of them, DInero i think, begged the place to deliver to him while shooting in NYC 2 weeks later. hes still pissed he wasnt working when they were eating

this will be opening soon right? anyone gonna see this?
btw, fortunately there aren't many threads with "kill" in the title, otherwise, it would've been a bitch to find this thread using the search function.

No wonder I couldn't find this when putting the full title into the search -- it was horribly misspelled
Don't ask me how but there's a torrent floating around that must be a DVD screener of this, I mean the quality of the thing I just watched, it might as well have been released on DVD already, it was perfect. Anyway I had a morbid curiosity to check this out. The whole time I'm sitting here thinking, it's been made so obvious who the killer is, that that must mean it can't possibly be who the killer is, because they wouldn't make it that obvious.
Well, they did. It's like, gee, if they're bothering to show us excerpts of this videotaped "confession" by Deniro's character, then how come everytime we see one of the murders committed, we never see the murderer's face? I tell ya between this and what I've heard about "88 Minutes", Al Pacino and Jon Avnet probably want to seriously consider never working together again.
