it was pretty good. about like the first one, just with everything doubled. dragged a lot in the middle and got kinda ridiculous at times but it was cool. Robert Downey Jr. and Mickey Rourke are always awesome.
im getting pretty tired of these Avengers easter eggs. just make the damn movie already.
i love the fact that so far they have used three movies to begin to set up the avengers, it think this may be the first time that multiple movies have been made that are in a story fashion setting up a future movie, how anyone can be sick of it is beyond me
because they've been doing it for about 10 years or more. wasnt it cancelled at one point? stuff like the Captain AMerica shield just seems forced and uneeded. they arent really building up to anything now. just make it already or shut up about it until it gets closer!
no, there hasnt been talk about an avengers movie for ten years. once marvel got its own studio and what not, then the talk started. the little tidbits, such as nick fury telling tony, what you think youre the only superhero in the first IM, to tony offering to help general ross with the hulk and now them finding Thors hammer is incredibly creative to me and is only making people more and more eager to see the thor and captain america movies to be followed by the avengers.
the avengers will be unlike any movie ever made as it will bring together several movie characters to star in one movie

More importantly, several established movie characters. Backstory, origin etc will be kept to a minimum, allowing a free flowing story without a lot of unanswered questions.
its either gonna be great or a complete clusterfuck. but Marvel has been doing well lately. i know the actors will have a huge payday. hopefully they can keep it up.

I read a lot of negative to luke warm reviews before going to see this and critics be damned i thought this movie rocked.
What a cast! I thought the acting was all really good. Black Widow looked really good too
I was a little disapointed that i stayed through the entire credits just to see thor's hammer. I wanted a little more. that is my only complant about the movie.

So I'm guessing that, well it seemed in the end that Pepper still doesn't realize that "Natalie" was planted there as a secret agent for SHIELD, and not just an assistant?
A key thing to the plot I didn't quite understand, it didn't seem like the government had any right whatsoever asking Stark to hand over Iron Man, I mean they were practically acting like he was doing something illegal by holding onto it. And even as it was become clearer that Tony was sorta losing control personally, I still don't think they had the right to demand it.

im pretty sure its illegal to build a nuclear powered suit of armor with advanced weapon systems. you cant even buy a bullet proof vest without a permit.
but even if it were legal i doubt that would stop the military from trying to get a hold of it.

i liked this. sure it was a bit scatter brained and disorganized, but it worked overall. Tony being an arrogant ass for the sake of doing so was kinda his m.o. so it also works.

Meh. I was pretty disappointed. Downright bored by the time the afterthought of a climax was done. The banter remains fantastic but the villain was incredibly undersold, Stark's reaction to his health issues felt more like he was just killing time until the problem solved itself than that he might be upset about it, and some of those scenes were just plain stupid (pretty much the entire birthday party).
It wasn't "I laughed pretty hard at this movie" bad like, say, the last Terminator, but it wasn't even really that fun a popcorn ride.
