Is it just me or is Frank TV quite possibly the worst show to ever air on television? I'm not talking overhyped, I'm talking jut plain shitty. It's just......bad. His impressions are cool in interviews when he's doing them on the spot, but this show seems like it is written by 3rd graders, and his talent doesn't really matter when they are pretaped takes.
Awful. I had to watch 1,000 commercials for it during the playoffs and this is how it is.

My brother and I are both big fans of Caliendo, but we both agreed that the shows sucks for 2 reason:
1. As mentioned, the writing. The impressions are great but the situational humor is nonexistent because the writing is so damn trite.
2. Caliendo isn't charasmatic enough to carry a show. Again, he's great with the impressions, but when he opens the show with his little bit to the audience, he falls flat on his face. It's not necessarily his fault - that's just how it is for Frank Caliendo.
I see this doing a 6-week run and then disappearing. They hyping of the show on TBS will have lasted longer than the show itself.

he has a lot of talent, but impressionists are really only funny to a certain point. i don't think it can handle an entire show. the writing sucks. and some of his impressions really aren't that good.

This show would be better if I were on it. They wouldn't even have to change the name of it.
brudda, america wants to see you fuck whores and shoot pimps on a weekly basis. no, america NEEDS to see you fuck whores and shoot pimps on a nightly basis!!

I haven't read or heard anything positive about this shitfest yet. I saw that initial Seinfeld sketch and the Nicholson thing the other night, they were HORRIBLE.
I'm sure TBS had a boadload of money invested in this joke.
He should learn how to do a Chappelle impression that way his introductions aren't say fucking lame and awkward.
I didn't even watch the second episode. I bet it sucked even worse than the first. But I agree about Caliendo being awesome, a show just isn't for him though

I don't know if America is ready for me, Sanford.

There's not a more annoying person on television. Watching the baseball playoffs on TBS with all his promos has been downright painful. Rich Little he's not.
