so im playing this game and i have to admit, its easily as good as halo/halo 2

basically you start off with the begining of conan. as a little boy, you watch your village burned to the ground and your family killed. you are then taken by the heros guild and raised to be a good.

the schtick is that you can either be good or bad, depending on you actions.

so far i have played about 10 hours of it and have barely scratched the surface. so far im just known as "chicken chaser"

Sadly, if you have played 10 hours, you have definetly scratched the surface. I beat the game in about 15 hours and I maxed out all my skills. It is a very fun game while it lasts, but it doesn't have near the depth it appears to have when you start out. They are making a longer version right now for the computers, so hopefully it will be downloadable on XBOX live.

Another reason I was dissapointed was I followed the development for a long time, and a lot of stuff they originally envisioned was cut out of the game. Originally it was supposed to be more free roaming, your wives would get pregnant and have children that you could take care of, and there were supposed to be competing heroes roaming around. There was a lot of other stuff they cut out that I can't remember right now.

I beat it in under 10 hours. Did most of the side quests too. Biggest disappointment of all time in my opinion. And the story- could it be any more genaric?

Hopefully, they will make a sequel for the next xbox and include most of the stuff that was cut. Even with a generic story, having all of the extras would have made for an interesting game.

I really didn't like this game at all. It sucked.

Get Jade Empire, supposedly that's pretty cool.

Wow. Sadly, all the complaints about the game's length are actually encouraging me to check this game out. I originally didn't play it because I assumed it would take way more time than I have to devote to a video game these days but if we're talking 15 hours then that's nothing. I might be able to take it down with a rental.

The worst Zelda is still better than 99% of games on this generation of consoles.

It is a great, great game. Some people are narrow-minded and can't look past the cel-shaded graphics. It's your loss.

I'm playing through it right now. Trying to achieve 100%. Did all 16 slide puzzles yesterday.

I actually love the graphics. It was the whole monotony of ocean travel, and most of the miniquest stuff was terribly boring or downright annoying. It was also incredibly easy as far as combat, I don't think I ever died. It wasn't terrible, but IMO the worst Zelda.

How is not liking cel-shaded graphics narrow minded? I tend to like them, and Tales of Symphonia, Dark Cloud 2, and Fear Effect were all great games that used them. Just because it doesn't appeal to someones tastes doesn't make it narrow minded though.

Well, a majority of people who "write-off" WW do so simply because of its graphics. I'm glad you played the game and formulated an opinion.

I didn't die in OoT, MM, or WW. They are all easy games.

While some of the sidequests are monotonous, they aren't the ones necessary in order to beat the game.

I like WW more than I liked MM but less than I liked OoT.

LttP is the best ever though.

i could forgive the monotonous water travel of the windwaker if there were more than two dozen inhabitants of the fucking game. not a world worth saving. and did anyone else feel slighted when you went under water, saw hyrule, and then realized you would not be running around in it? up to that point, great game. afterwards, mediocre.
