I'm looking forward to the end of the reality tv era. Sure, I enjoyed Survivor, I watch the Apprentice occasionally, and I dig Fear Factor. But there are literally dozens and dozens of fucking reality shows, as the networks attempt to suckle off the teat that is reality tv. The problem is that 99% of these shows suck ass.
Last night I turned on the tv and "The Biggest Loser" was on. I watched it for 5 minutes and almost got nausious. What an unoriginal piece of shit that is.
To me, sows like the bachelor, extreme makoever, the Swan, who wants to be a millioniare are manifestations of everything that is wrong in our society.
This era of Reality TV cannot end soon enough for me.

Shit I dont even watch TV much anymore besides The Daily Show and South Park, which I watch religiously, but when I move out on my own, I'm not going to get cable just for those two shows.
TV in general sucks so bad anymore, and it doesnt look like it will get any better, besides the aforementioned shows, my television serves as a monitor to my playstation2 and my DVD player. thats all its good for anymore.

That fake animated reality show on Comedy central is as close as I get. I think it's called drawn together. It's so funny. All other reality shows can kiss my ass.
i like cooking shows. those are reality shows, right?

Have you guys seen "Reality Hell"? It's kind of Punk'd meets various reality shows in a half hour format. The mark thinks they're on a reality show, but everyone else is in on the joke and the craziest shit happens to the poor person. One week it's a cooking show, another week it's a modeling show, another week it's a dating show. It can be pretty funny.

they did this for a whole season on Spike TV once i think.
anyway, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire is just continuing a genre that's been going on for a lot longer than Survivor.
