Yeah, it's the end of the Mayan calendar and some other prophecies claim the world ends on 12/21/12. I've read some scientific theories that the earth's axis could shift dramatically on that date. The planets and sun are all supposed to align with the milky way or something. Looks like an interesting movie.

I've never understood the whole nonsense about the world ending because Mayan calendar runs out in 2012. So the fuck what, my calendar runs out in December and no-one says we'll all die at Christmas.
