Fuck yeah!!! I just got into the Beta. I'll let you guys know how great this is. If anyone else got into the Beta, let me know. We'll meet up and do some co-op.

It's amazing so far. The controls, and gameplay are great. The Beta seems to consist of about 5 pre made levels by the developer. That's basically an introduction though. After that you can then play online and play custom levels that other Beta members have already created. The levels people have already come up with are unbelievable. You can also play co-op with up to 4 people, and it's a blast. The goal isn't really to beat the level, it's to collect more bubbles than the other players before you get to the end of the level. That basically means every man for himself, and you certainly try to sabotage all other players along the way.
The most creative level I saw today was one called "Sweet Child 'O Mine". You can actually create custom music for your levels. This guy made a level where you get on a vehicle, and as the vehicle moves along it triggers notes to play, and he somehow made it play the beginning of that song. It was mind blowing. Even the drum part kicked in at the beginning.
This is much more than a platformer, and I guarantee this will be a system seller for Sony. Look out Mario!

I'm more blown away by this everytime I play it. It's unbelievable. I can think of only a handful of game that have changed gaming.... Pong, Pac Man, Mario, Final Fantasy, Grand Theft Auto, and now LittleBigPlanet. There is no limit to what you can create. If you own a PS3, and don't own this game, you don't deserve to have the system. Can't wait to play online with you guys when it comes out!!!!

In all honesty though, couldn't they have picked a better name for the main character than "Sack Boy?"
I never really gave that much thought. It doesn't really bother me. I think they wanted to keep it vauge instead of giving the character a true name like Mario because of all the customization you can do to him/her.
