I actually think this deserves the heaps of praise, especially considering Godin hd only directed music videos. I'd say it's a modern masterpiece.

Underrated:
Belly
Friday Night Lights
Akira

Overrated:
Garden State-probably the most overrated film in years.

It's definitley very different and well written, but I think my main issue with it is that everyone hails it as Kaufman's best, when that honor should easily go to Adaptation.

Overrated:

Donnie Darko
Spider-Man
National Lampoon's Anything
Singles
The Matrix
Star Wars*

*I like the original three to an extent, but they have no place in, for example, the finals of a "greatest movies of all time" thread or anywhere near there.

But, most of all, I'll say it again, because it bears repeating: Donnie Darko.
