Still waiting for Verizon to get the iPhone. No way in hell I'm switching to AT&T. I can't imagine I'm alone in that sentiment either.

it was a tough decision for us, and the actual PHONE service is not as good.
The iPhone & the 3G data network are AMAZING! I will never not have an iphone. But I will jump back to Verizon when they get it, and get all the bugs worked out.

There's the video and...
- faster CPU and more RAM So its just faster like a new computer is faster than an old one.
- More storage (holds more music/videos/pictures/apps)
- Magnetic compass (not much of a selling point but it is in there)
- voice control (for dialing and controlling the ipod dont know how useful this will be)
- longer battery life

P.S. My first iPhone app was approved for sale yesterday. It's a file download utility, http://itunes.com/app/downloader

$1.99 Too rich for my blood. that and I have no fucking idea what at actually does.

but CONGRATZ ! ! !

Unfortunately where I live this isn't the case. Everyone around here bitches about their AT&T coverage. Plus, i'm happy with Verizon after two years and i get 15% off my monthly rate with my employer's discount.

Bugs, if you pick the contact you want and hit edit contact, you can copy it and then cancel the edit and paste it into the text.

No. That feature is exclusive to 3Gs.

That sucks. I'm updating the software now.

Wait, I thought I could send picture messages with this new software. I also thought I could search my e-mail? This is weird. Those options don't seem to exist.

It's built into the software, but AT&T refuses to support it at this time. Look for them to allow it later summer.

Ah. That's lame. Thank you. Every other update seems to be working fine, but I thought that photo messaging function was really the big reason to upgrade. Other than video, which I realizes pre-upgrade is only for the 3GS.

get a program called redsnow. there are tutorials on youtube, the actual process was easy.

with a program called cydia, you can get different apps that were rejected by apple. you can change your app icons, backgrounds, add 5 buttons to the bottom, add an extra column on each page for apps. you can delete the bullshit apps like stocks that you otherwise couldn't.

the most handy thing is an app called organize, and it basically creates a folder that you put in whatever you want, so you aren't scrolling through page after page to look for an app, you just open the folder "games" or "music apps"

my dialer looks like an old payphone, my slide to answer is the bullet from mario brothers.

you can even go as far as changing the carrier, so in the us, you can switch from att to verizon if you were so inclined, and your contract was up.

I can't figure out what's more wrong about this app: the fact that it's $0.99, or that it's rated 4 years and up :?
