I'd like to hear some reports as well. I'm sure it's available out there, I'd just like to know if it's worth the time or not.

not much of a fan of vampire shit, not even sure why people are infatuated with it. The show does look like it might have some nudity in it though. Keep me informed of that.

The premiere showed some promise, but not too much. I'm gonna check it out again next week, though. It was OK. Plenty of nudity though, yes.

I was kind of impressed by this. I don't really like Anna Paquin and I expected this to be another lame-ass Buffy The Vampire Slayer kind of thing, but its not. Alan Ball did a really great job with Six Feet Under so I expect this to find an audience and end up being worthwhile.

AICN said it's pretty bland over the first 5 episodes, but then again so were Rome and Carnivale and those turned out great.

I watched this and was a bit disappointed .. it was kinda "soap opera-ish" but I will give it a few more episode before I make a final Like or dislike decision.

The sex parts kept me interested..the "Tara" character lines and delivery reminded me of a B movie.. or like that B Horror "the people under the stairs"

The ending was the best part..a little bloody and unpredictable.

I agree. The very end and the teaser for the next ep is what made me write a note to remember to give the next episode a shot. I'm hoping for more stuff like that.

I'm a big fan of the books and it is very true to them. For me it's deja vu, but good enough I'll keep watching. If it is like the books, it just gets better. :)

i have a feeling that if and when this show starts to pick up steam and get good, HBO will pull the plug
