Not the best episode I've seen, but I enjoyed it. More Manny, please.

That was about it for genuine laughs last night.

Come on really?

"Whats the plan Phil?"

"Hey, at least I'm doing SOMETHING!"

"What's the plan, Phil!" was definitely the highlight for me.

Agreed.
Is the chocolate milk thing true? I'd never heard of that.

Me either. I'm almost afraid to try it.

I've had a dark chocolate bar with "a touch of sea salt", and it was pretty good.

I absolutely howled at Phil's milkshake spit-take when Haley pulled on his seatbelt again.

And Manny is actually one of my least favorite characters on the show, I don't know why but he just kind of annoys me. Phil is far and away my fave.

Manny is a bit over exposed this season; his subtle humor (dinner jacket) from last year was a lot better...time for him to take a back seat for a little bit.

My favorite line of this year is from Phil regarding Angela Lansbury being the grand marshall of a parade: "Good times, she wrote."

Haven't seen tonight's episode yet, but we finally watched last weeks. Dear sweet Jesus, I was dying laughing. Phil was cracking me up left & right, and Manny's mom (why can I remember her boobs in perfect detail but not recall her name??) with the dog was great, too. Last week's episode was one of their best, IMO.

i saw one on demand tonight, first one i ever saw. its only a little better than shows like til death, etc based on this one episode. it was the one where the gay dude and the hot blond chick made a strangers on a trainesque pact to yada yada whatever. the thing that gets me is the fact that a lot of people have had the gall to mention this show to me in the same sentence as arrested development, and i just dont get it based on this one episode. am i missing something, was this a subpar episode, or is it just not for me?

Watch another. I can't friggin' stand shows like Till Death or Two and a Half Men (maybe I just hate laugh tracks), and this show is heads and tails better than that drivel.

I agree.

I wouldn't put in in the same league as AD, or even Seinfeld. But...for a network TV show, especially among the current crop, it's as good as it gets.

Kind of surprised the "gigantic fog que" line made it past the censors.

It's now, officially, the only primetime show that I watch.
