This film is finally seeing the light of day!! A number of you may already be aware of the history this thing's got, that it's been finished for like at least 2 years and initially when it showed at some festivals it kicked up a shit ton of buzz for being a really trippy, original Halloween-themed horror film (and Dougherty the screenwriter on "X2"). It was apparently finally set for release last Halloween of '08, then the studio pushed it again, pissing a lot of fans off (I still remember the uproar of so many people when reading the AICN story at the time when it came out they were pushing it last Fall). Because of the subject matter, you'd naturally assume that's the release time for it and really no other, so you were then talking about waiting a whole one more year. Now the studio said screw that entirely, it's coming direct-to-video believe it or not, it hits this Tuesday, Oct 6th (although I DL'd a rip this afternoon and will be watching tonight :P )

I'd say this has a damn good chance now of being considered the best DTV movie ever made.

An anthology movie of 4 different stories occurring on the same Halloween night, with an ensemble cast that includes Anna Paquin, Dylan Baker and Bryan Cox.
