wow, i never really looked into these movies before and i checked the first two at rottentomatoes and out of the two there is not one single rotten tomato.

Wow, that was great! It's crazy how good the first two films are. The sequel was just as good if not better than the first, and I'm glad Lasseter didn't rush with a third film.

Can't wait!

i actually enjoy the sequel more than the first one. it feels like there's a lot more going on at any given time.

Deservedly so.

It seems to me that a lot of people liked Toy Story 2 better than the first film (which seems to be panning out in this thread), which I don't agree with. Even today, when I watch these, I find myself more emotionally invested in the first one than the second. The western characters that aren't Woody just don't appeal to me for some reason- I find myself more annoyed by them than sympathetic. Being that the story is centered around these characters, you can see why I have a lesser opinion of the second movie. It's still a good film, and I can see why others might like it better... but I just like that the first one has more innocence and is less heavy handed- which is what toys are supposed to be.

I think I am going to go with 2 being better than 1 becasue there were more going on.

The beginning was PERFECT in the video game, then the sequence of them crossing the road was classic.

Jessie was great, but they did stay a bit long on them.

I also kind of like buzz and woody being apart, having 2 different stories going on.
