Anyone watch this? They pick these family's who are more than deserving of a new home...most of the time, one of the kids in the family suffers from a terrible rare disease, and they need a home that would better suit them...then the most annoying group of people come in and rebuild their house, and make everything state of the art....the houses in the end are completely awesome...but the painful pill you you have to swallow to get to the end of the show just sucks...

My wife and I are thinking about calling in the show, and telling them that my wife is allergic to hinny hairs....then they would come in the house, and make it state of the art in the efforts to battle against hinny hairs....They would construct bathroom floors that would detect hinny hairs as soon as they hit the tile, then a robot would come out and zap it to pieces....you know, stuff like that.

*ssshhhh I cry every Sunday, too*

Especially from the one family from LA....where the mother was killed in a drive by, and the son took in all 73 children....and they built them a brand spanking new house in what looks to be the center of crackville US....gee, I hope they installed one of those high tech burglar alarms....in all seriousousness, that one definatly had me choked up.

Great show. I'd want to be the buyer for that show. Run through Sears and say okay, I want 15 washers and 36 dryers, 18 dishwashers and... well, hell. Throw in that escalator.

they do know how to find a good sob story, don't they? The family that lost both parents six days apart really got to me...with the tributes to their parents, etc. I have to really get macho to avoid crying from this show.

I'll be siding with the people who say they have to choke back tears. They do a hell of a job with this show. The homes are amazing, and the people they pick, I hate to say "deserving"..but they do deserve to have something nice done for them.

I agree. The only thing I don't like is that ABC portrays it like all is good with the world for these families just because they redid the house. I mean a few weeks back they had a guy whose wife died and he had like 6 kids...sure the new house is great, but I bet my life that they'd all rather have their mom/wife back.

cried like a baby for the deaf/autistic family! also for the girl allergic to sunlight... it was almost too much!

at first the show bothered me because it seemed like they were picking really religious christian families in order to make some point about who is deserving and who is not. but then i figured it was probably the tragedy in a lot of these people's lives that made them so religious in the first place and also towards the end of the season there was a bunch of families in a row that were not religious. so i'm over it!
