This is exactly the first thing that popped into my head when I read this thread title.

The second time I watched Mulholland Drive it was with my roommate, who had never seen it before. We were both high as fuck and, he turns to me as they're walking towards the back of the building and goes "wow, I am fucking terrified right now." and of course he wasn't expecting what happens at the end of it. it was great.

The AV Club did a list of their favorite scenes from the decade, and I was pretty appalled that this one wasn't in there, considering the movie itself was pretty high on their films list.

most of the film has that same eeriness about it, so it's even more effective within context.

But I watched the mist, sunday afternoon. It was a steven king novel, there's a bit where the main character has to shoot his family...
This was on in the afternoon... My boyfriend looked devastated! ...I had to go out for a walk after that...
