What a strange trailer. It seems like clips from a comedy with weirdly inappropriate music until the very end.

This trailer gets funnier the more you watch it. The zoom-in on his face when they're showing him the retirement brochures is fantastic. As is the spitting competition between Eastwood and the old Korean lady.

It looks like it will be funny but quite touching at the same time.

I like all the scenes you guys mentioned.

So I just watched this online with good quality.

Very awkwardly acted (aside from Eastwood) throughout the whole movie, and at times had weirdly constructed scenes.

Other than that is it is most certainly worth a viewing. But not even in the same ball park as masterworks like Mystic River and Million Dollar Baby

Not a bad movie. I actually enjoyed most of it. Funnier than I would have expected. Ending was a bit of a disappointment.

Eastwood in the trailer looks badass, but that's all this one has going for it for me. Eastwood has been making ridiculously sappy movies of late, and this one looks to be no exception. I'll wait until this one is on TV to see it.

Terrible acting by everyone but Eastwood. Decent movie with a good message.
Spoiler: show
I was a bit disappointed with the way the movie ended. Could've been better.

Eh. None of Eastwood's stuff after Unforgiven has been great, but I wouldn't say MR is trash on the level of Million Dollar Baby.

obviously none of you know what the fuck you are talking about when it comes to 21st century film. The endings to Mystic River and Dollar Baby are two of the most creative and satisfying endings ive seen in some time

Eastwood should be respected as a good filmmaker, especially in today's Hollywood. I forgive all of you who say terrible things about the two films.

mystic river is pretty boss. some great acting and definitely three dimensional characters. gran torino, on the other hand, looks like garbage. watch surfwise for some cathartic motherfucking a-shit.
