what do you guys think was the reason for the nickname "Hannible"? Is there any historic figure of that name?

I think his best movie was Baby Boy, truthfully. Boyz N the Hood is good but overrated, and the rest of the movies he wrote himself were a joke (Poetic Justice, anyone?). But I will agree that even in his most racist and preposterous movies that he wrote, he was saying something. I still haven't acknowledged that the Shaft remake actually happened.
