So yeah, just got tickets to see RAW in Manchester on November 17th and Smackdown on November 22nd.

I'm pretty excited, just wanted to ask anyone who's been to see WWE live what the experience was like?

I don't know what this WWE is, but I saw the WWF live a couple times back in the day. Pretty cool from what I remember.

Yeah fuck the WWE, but when it was WWF it rocked. Expect a heck of a lot of energy and TONS of noise. The ring is really loud and fireworks are deafening and so is the music. One hell of a lot of fun. Its really cool if they fight in the crowd or you get a steel cage match or something. I wish it was as good now as it was in 1998.

I went to RAW a couple of times back in the 90's. The commerical breaks get annoying after a while. One good think about seeing wrestling live is that because there are so many kids there, the line for beer is usually pretty short.

Nice. You'll have a blast, especially if you are any kind of a fan. I've only ever attended House Shows (hey, I live in Wyoming), but they were always a great time.

Enjoy!

I attented RAW in 03 and SMACK DOWN in 02 at the Baltimore Arena. Our seats for RAW got double printed somehow with someone else's so they moved us down the the floor about 6 rowns back from the ring, camera side.
It was great fun. I remember Jericho, and Kane's pyro being defining (sp) loud.

Wow, a James Bond and WWE topic all the same on a PJ board. This is as close to heaven as I'll ever get...probably because I don't believe in heaven. Haha.

Anyway, I've been to many shows over the years, sadly no televised shows or UK shows. The reason I mention UK shows is that, luckily for you, they put alot of extra presentation into it, i.e. a nice stage, lighting, pyro etc. But since you're going to Raw and Smackdown, that was already a given.

Just bring an HBK sign for me, OK?

In case you couldn't tell, I'm a huge fan and always have been. For those that know who he is, I'm going to train with Lance Storm in Calgary sometime within the next year. He's promising to bring in "guest instructors" that he's friends with such as Benoit, Jericho, Christian and Edge. He also hasn't rules out the possibility of a Bret Hart appearence. For those that don't know who Storm is, he's wrestled all over the world and is one of the most talented and respected performers of all time. He was a really big star in ECW and WCW and was also pretty big in his first couple of years with the WWF/WWE.

Enjoy the shows, bud! :)
