The film follows an oil drilling team who, after their plane crashes, struggle to survive in Alaska while being hunted by a pack of wolves.

Probably going to go see this. Its officially cold in Illinois right now and its going to start snowing a lot this week so this seems appropriate.

Poor Liam Neeson....First his wife's skiing accident and death and now this. Maybe he should stay away from snow/cold climates?

I knew nothing about this, and a friend asked me to go.

It was a cool experience, walking into a movie knowing exactly zero. Like, I had literally never even heard of it. That happens a lot anymore, but usually after I get asked to go I at least have time to look it up and learn a few key points. I didn't know who was in it, what type of movie it was....nothing. That was fun.

This movie definitely wasn't perfect...it had its "really?" moments....but it was incredibly powerful to watch. Emotionally draining in a very....unsettling....way.

The kids in front of me were furious, though. I don't think it was what they expected it to be.

I liked it. I can see the ending not sitting too well with the avg movie goer.

the wolves part makes me think of the comcast commercial where the guy walks through his house pausing the movie

jeezus, that was just nothing but tension the entire time. And they, having filmed this in the mountains not that far from me, have ensured that I will never wander into the woods without a tank.

Neeson did a great job in this one. Particularly in the end, no dialogue, just him.
