The only two films I've seen by Jeunet were Amélie and Delicatessen, both pretty ehhh.
I think I grew to hate Amélie after my little sister's incessant quoting of it on her FB page.
That said, this looks pretty good.

Hey just pointing this out. I don't care one way or the other if you want to call a director's film his best when the same director called the film something he 'was not proud of'. (No link for this, it was in the print edition of EMPIRE magazine last December or January)

City of Lost Chrildren lost an awful lot of money - this kind of thing can affect someone's view retrospectively.
