What do you think about filming a scene where thodoks gets cut off while driving, and instead of a normal, angry reaction, he gets very quiet and pulls over on the shoulder, rolls down the window, then just stares at his glove compartment?

that sounds great...i'd like to see him unbutton the top button of his shirt immediately before rolling down the window

Would you add music to that and use a split-screen technique, go to live cuts from each scene, or what? I think that has some potential to be really powerful if done well.

i'm going to have to think about that one...my gut is telling me live cuts for the first few minutes...and then maybe a split screen with musical accompaniment as the scene concludes with ms. thodoks' arduous search ending in futility, and mr. thodoks falling backward against the wall and sliding to the floor after his last snort
