Justified is an American television drama series created by Graham Yost based on the popular character U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens featured in books (Pronto and Riding the Rap) and a short story (Fire in the Hole) by novelist Elmore Leonard. Givens is a tough, southern-bred but soft-spoken federal lawman, enforcing his brand of justice that conflicts with both sides of the law. The pilot was shot in Pittsburgh and suburban Kittaning, Pennsylvania and Washington, Pennsylvania with the subsequent 12 episodes having shot in California. Pittsburgh's David L. Lawrence Convention Center appears on film as the small town "airport" and the construction of the new Consol Energy Center serves as the "new courthouse". Justified is set for a March 16, 2010, premiere on FX. In Canada, Justified can be seen on Super Channel starting April 5, 2010. The series is set in the hill country of Eastern Kentucky. Some are calling it the modern day Deadwood.
Cast: Timothy Olyphant (Raylan Givens) Nick Searcy (Art Mullen) Erica Tazel (Rachel Brooks) Jacob Pitts (Tim Gutterson) Joelle Carter (Ava Crowder) Natalie Zea (Winona Hawkins)

So thoughts on this? I thought the pilot was fantastic. Heard the actor who plays the main bad guy on the radio today, and he says the second episode has his character completely changed.

all right, i'm in. good to see bullock back. still need to see episode 3. why does it take a week before the show is available ondemand? that shit should be next day.
I want to like this show more, but I can't get into the main characters at all. They're so stock. I'll keep watching, but I think it's pretty boring next to a show like Breaking Bad. It doesn't help that it ripped off True Blood's opening credits.
