Forgot about this.
There's been a new Tumbler/Batmobile tour over the last month or so. They've been touring EVERY Batmobile since the TV show, taking them around to sports stadiums, mostly NFL football games I guess.
November 18th its in Pittsburgh, PA at 8:20 PM and on Thanksgiving, its in Dallas, TX at 3:15 PM.
Back in May I got to see the black Tumbler and the Batpod in National Harbor. At those two dates above you'll see the Adam West car, Tim Burton's car, Schumacher's, both the black and camouflage Tumblers, and I think the Batpod. Cool beans.

My main problem with this movie was, are we really supposed to believe all that action can take place in the matter of just two-and-a-half hours? Kind of unreal if you ask me. This movie should have been at least a couple weeks long.

G Dangit i love this movie.
2nd watching and im just as into it as the 1st time. Maybe moreso. bane grew on me. Hardy did such a great job. What an intense character. Such a sense of urgency (agency?) throughout the entire film. To actually worry for Batmans life makes for quite a ride. The first fight scene with Bane is just an excellent scene. One of my favorites from the trilogy and easily one of my favorites of any movie in the past 10 years or so. The lack of music. Sinister.

I still think it's too full. Shoulda been one movie focused on his total reclusion, his attempt to return due to a growing threat, and lead to a climaxing with his defeat at the hands of Bane. Then the next one could feature his prison recovery (not rushed, thanks) and the lives of the people in Gotham (more Catwoman and Levitt, thanks), and the comeback shit. At least that way, we'd get as much development of Bane and the other new characters as we did the Joker. And we wouldn't get that Empire Strikes Back-like "wait, how much time is supposed to be passing right now" moment in the middle.

i was thinking about the first Bane/Batman fight, and im so glad we have that...its s little masterpiece in a large fun movie with flaws. The sound design of that scene is just superb, the lack of music, the water...Bane´s voice....The sound of Batman´s little distraction bombs...its astonishing how good all those details are.

It's very dark movie. It's the ending, batman's not in his prime. I watched it last night, found a good BR rip on a particular torrent site.
Nolan's film show batman in 3 phases and it's not happy where he ended up when this film begins. People seem to dislike that this film is suppose to take over 7-8 months. Tom Hardy had the hardest follow up job of any actor in regards to a comic genre type film and I think he nailed it.Nolan can deny it all he wants, but they did more work to bane's voice and it sounds great now.
Quote: HitFix is reporting that according to their sources, Joseph Gordon-Levitt will "absolutely" be returning as Batman in "Justice League" (sorry Armie Hammer). Furthermore, they hear rumblings that Gordon-Levitt -- and possibly one other actor from the Nolan-verse -- will suit up earlier, and they basically suggest that he could pop his head into "Man Of Steel" in some sort of Marvel-esque world-building scheme. On the one hand, we're sure Warner Bros. would love to find a way to build off of Nolan's wildly successful trilogy, which for now has been viewed as being completely self-contained. However, this whole plan sounds like the exact antithesis of Nolan's approach, who has more or less sought to have his Batman pictures stand independently from anything else.

JGL is too short to play Batman.
