I really don't get the hate towards Skyfall and TDR...
The Hobbit I can understand, it have problems (Bombur), but I didn't have almost any with TDR and Skyfall.

I loved this movie, but I wouldn't put it in my top 10 for the year.

I would, probably top 4. Keep in mind that is because I saw I think 4 movies this year.

No

Right. He clearly left out The Odd Life of Timothy Green.

:D

Yeah, this is where I'm at, unfortunately. Haven't seen enough this year.

But Beasts of the Southern Wild is by far and away the best film I've seen this year. Hell, it's probably the best film I've seen in five or six years.

Argo, and Silver Linings Playbook are really nice as well. Argo is probably my #2 and SLP my #3.

TDKR is a blast. I love the movie, but I'd only rank it in my top 5 or 10 because I didn't see much.

Let's rank the Bale performances as Bruce Wayne/Batman:

1) Batman Begins
2) The Dark Knight
3) The Dark Knight Rises.

My brother was watching this again the other night, and he's enamored with it like the rest of you weirdos, but I couldn't help but draw my attention to that first Bane and Batman fight. So well done. If only the ebb and flow, and visceral feeling of that scene ran throughout the picture.
