this was fun, but it felt a little too thrown together perhaps on purpose

I thought this was pretty good. I mean it was obviously bad for the sake of being corny and bad, but it was fun and enjoyable. I am living in Austin at the moment, so seeing alot of places I see on a daily basis was fun.

so I guess Rodriguez directed those Spy Kids movies and I happened to catch the end of one where the kids call their family together to help beat a bad guy and they show their titles as the appear on the scene. Out of nowhere, Danny Trejo shows up and "Machete" is scrawled across the screen. Neat little cameo.

He is actually in a few of those Spy Kids movies. My kids have seen them all....numerous times.

I just looked into this more, thanks IMDB. This makes the story of Machete all the more mythic.
